Buyer or charterer provides requirements to CNVessel, including: vessel type (deck cargo ship, bulk carrier, tugboat, etc.); specifications (deck size, deadweight, age, build year); budget; delivery time and location.
CNVessel Confirms Demand & Recommends Vessels
Our brokers carefully select suitable vessels with photos. Clients may also filter vessels on CNVessel.com and send them to us. We immediately confirm availability, details, and certificates with the shipowner.
Arrange on-site inspection if client is interested
CNVessel confirms the vessel’s location with the owner and arranges a convenient time for inspection. We provide pickup service (airport/train station) for both domestic and overseas clients and accompany the full inspection.
Who provides the surveyor?
CNVessel has long-term cooperation with MWS, CCS, and other classification societies. We assist with background checks, ownership verification, and title searches to avoid disputes. However, we recommend clients arrange their own trusted surveyors.
CNVessel assists full negotiation & contract signing
Our professional brokers assist buyers with LOI and MOA, ensuring fair, clear, and legal terms to avoid risks: price, payment, delivery terms, deregistration, flag transfer timeline, etc.
Payment Arrangement & Fund Escrow
All payments are completed under CNVessel supervision: deposit, final payment, verification (funds confirmed in third-party bank escrow before proceeding). Protects both owner and buyer, ensuring fund security.
How Delivery & Registration Work
1. Vessel Delivery: Owner hands over vessel after final payment, signing delivery protocol.
2. Flag Transfer: Vessel transfers from original registry (e.g. China) to new registry.
3. Complete Transfer: Owner cancels registration; buyer registers vessel in new country/region.
CNVessel assists full delivery & transfer
CNVessel assists with all handover documents, ensures full certificates, avoids legal disputes, coordinates flag transfer, recommends trading/ship agents, and coordinates shipowner cooperation.
Real Vessels · Real Assurance · Full-Process Service
Genuine Vessels & Direct Connection
In the Chinese market, the biggest concern for overseas buyers is authenticity: whether the vessel is real, whether it is from the direct owner, and whether the price has been marked up. CNVessel only connects verified Chinese shipowners. All vessel information is confirmed, authorized, and available for sale, avoiding duplicate or fake listings. We provide clear owner background and basic documents to build trust from the first step, ensuring every vessel is real, transparent, and tradable.
Control & Professional Process!
Many overseas clients worry about last-minute changes, unclear approval processes, or unpredictable timelines. CNVessel not only relays information but also designs transaction structures and controls progress. From LOI, MOA to deposit arrangement, export approval, deregistration, and flag transfer, we plan the schedule in advance and follow up closely to ensure seller performance and smooth progress, keeping transactions under control rather than passive waiting.
Risk Prediction & Fund Security
Foreign buyers care most about legal and fund security, including mortgage release, debts, and safe final payment. CNVessel verifies vessel mortgages and debts before transaction, assists with escrow accounts and standard contract terms, ensuring safe and transparent deposit and final payment. We focus on risk control, not just closing deals, so clients enjoy international-standard security when buying vessels in China.
